![]() I've personally labeled these beats as new-age nonsense, right next to ear candles and homeopathic medicine. I haven't seen any solid research to back binaural beats, although it's a more recent discovery so this is natural. I'm a skeptic, though, so I really just attribute this to placebo or better focus since I'm listening to white noise and not the distracting environment. I've used them while studying in the past, and actually had good results. Some sources claim some miraculous things, like sleeping for less than half the usual time or having greatly improved memorization, creativity, or focus.
